Dancing City - Get Involved!

OUR DANCING CITY NEEDS YOU!

DO YOU HAVE WHEELS?

Ride a bike? Push a buggy? Use a wheelchair?

Turn tricks on a skateboard?
Yes? Well we need you!

Dancing City is part of the Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme, and you don't need any dance experience to get involved!

Dancing City will celebrate a City that is constantly in motion and will bring together professional artists and communities of people to create an exciting film and series of ‘happenings’. It will capture the City of Glasgow in motion through its infrastructure and its people at work, play and going about their everyday business.

The film will be screened extensively across the City during Festival 2014.

Artist
Caroline Bowditch is looking to recruit anyone who works, interacts or moves with wheels to be part of Dancing City.

Through a series of engaging and fun workshops we will explore what's possible with wheels and create a short ‘happening’ that will wind, curl and shift its way up Buchanan Street on Sunday 25 May.
No previous experience is necessary we just ask that you bring your own wheels, an openness to try things out and your energy.
