Congratulations to Mr Milne, who for the second time in years, has recieved an award from the Scottish FA for his work within Disability Football.
Mr Milne, who volunteers with Special Olympics Scotland West, recieved the award at an event held in Hampden Park prior to a recent Betfred Cup match.
Mr Milne's club train out of the Firhill Complex on Tuesday evenings between 5pm and 7pm. The club currently have 3 team entered in the Scottish FA PAN Para National Football League and have only recently returned from the Special Olympics Anniversary Games, held at Stirling University.
Mr Milne said "I believe that football is a powerful tool that can bring society together. The opportunities that SOSW provide can be a social lifeline to many young people and adults who otherwise find themselves on the fringes of society. The club gives them a sense of belonging, an opportunity to be active but most importantly a chance to make friends and feel included".
