Pupil wins Clyde 1 Live T-shirt Contest
A special t-shirt designed by a Glasgow schoolboy will be on sale at Gary Barlow’s next performance at the city’s new SSE Hydro in December.

The t-shirt, which is the official Clyde 1 LIVE concert t-shirt, was designed by 15 year old Aidan Hannah, a pupil and a Prince's Trust xl club member at the city’s Hollybrook Academy.

Proceeds from sales of the t-shirt will go to the Radio Clyde Cash for Kids children’s charity which supports projects and community initiatives aimed at helping vulnerable children in Glasgow and the west of Scotland.
Aidan Hannah said:  “This is a dream come true. Having my own t-shirt on sale at a concert with Gary Barlow performing is amazing.  I want to be a designer when I leave school so when I was told I’d won the competition to design the official concert t-shirt I was so excited.  I hope that everyone buys my t-shirt because the profits will go to Cash for Kids.”

As well as having his own design featuring on the official concert t-shirt and receiving an iPad as part of his prize, Aidan’s whole class have been invited to attend Clyde 1 LIVE as VIPs.

Mr Cannon and Ms McNally were both extremley pleased that a member of their xl club beat hundreds of other entrants to win this competition.

Aidan’s t-shirt will also be on pre-sale on the Clyde 1 website for those who want to beat the rush at Clyde 1 LIVE.
